§73.450 食品着色剂核黄素(Riboflavin)

  § 73.450 Riboflavin.

  (a) Identity. (1) The color additive riboflavin is the riboflavin defined in the Food Chemicals Codex, 3d Ed. (1981), pp. 262–263, which is incorporated by reference. Copies may be obtained from the National Academy Press, 2101 Constitution Ave. NW., Washington, DC 20418, or at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).   (2) Color additive mixtures made with riboflavin may contain as diluents only those substances listed in this subpart as safe and suitable for use in color additive mixtures for coloring foods.

  (b) Specifications. Riboflavin shall meet the specifications given in the Food Chemicals Codex, 3d Ed. (1981), which is incorporated by reference. The availability of this incorporation by reference is given in paragraph (a)(1) of this section.

  (c) Uses and restrictions. Riboflavin may be safely used for the coloring of foods generally, in amounts consistent withgood manufacturing practice; except that it may not be used to color foods for which standards of identity have been promulgated under section 401 of the act, unless the use of added color is authorized by such standards.

  (d) Labeling. The label of the color additive shall conform to the requirements of §70.25 of this chapter.

  (e) Exemption from certification. Certification of this color additive is not necessary for the protection of the public health, and therefore batches thereof are exempt from the certification requirements of section 721(c) of the Act.

  §73.450 核黄素

  (a)特性:

  (1)着色剂核黄素的概况见FCC III(1981)P.262~263,该资料可向[E、B]处复印。

  (2)用核黄素配制成的食用着色剂混合物,只能选用本分部中所列的安全和适用于食品着色的着色剂混合物稀释剂。

  (b)质量规格:核黄素的质量指标同FCC III,见本节(a)(1)。

  (c)使用和限制条件:核黄素在符合GMP用量条件下,可安全地用于一般食品的着色,但不得用于本法规§401中颁布的已确定标准的食品的着色,除非所加入的色素是这类标准所允许的。

  (d)标签标注方式:本着色剂的标签应符合本章§70.25中的要求。

  (e)免除产品证书:本着色剂免除产品证书以保护公众健康。所生产的每批产品也免除按法规§721(c)中所规定的需要产品证书。
