据外媒报道,澳大利亚悉尼大学决定减少对导致全球暖化公司的投资,包括大型矿业公司。然而,投资将转向可能危害人体健康的公司:酒、软饮料和烟草生产商。
据报道,悉尼大学在教育机构里拥有最大的投资额,达14亿澳元。近期悉尼大学转向投资世界最大的烟草公司之一的British American烟草公司、啤酒业巨头SAB Miller、墨西哥可口可乐和Powerade能量饮料罐装公司FEMSA。
悉尼大学在今年上半年对这几家公司投资近200万澳元,并将在跨国啤酒和烈酒公司投资350万澳元,其中包括Johnnie Walker品牌的持有者Diageo公司。

The university's $1.4 billion portfolio, the largest of any educatio
nal body in Australia, has recently invested in British American Tobacco, one of the world's biggest cigarette companies, beer giant SAB Miller, and FEMSA, a big Mexican Coca-Cola and Powerade bottler.
